One thing often overlooked in PPV Marketing is the backend server. A shared server account with dozens of other websites is not going to cut it. You need to have a server that can handle the traffic you are going to throw at it. For those just entering the PPV market, start with a shared account to keep the costs low but ultimately you will need a dedicated server. Luckily hosting providers such as Just Host
can satisfy both needs. You can start with a shared account and switch to a dedicated server when your traffic rises. Just remember, each lost conversion would probably have paid for a months hosting fees.

Try implementing a flashing border into your landing pages. It helps grab attention to your landing page when you've got very little time to get attention. Flashing graphics or video can have the same effect. The addition of sound is always a plus, too. If you're a caveman and have no idea how to get a light MP3 file to play on your popup landing page, just do it the simple way. Grab a Youtube clip and embed it into the bottom of your landing page. I usually put it low enough to where the user would have to scroll to pause it. You can resize it to about 35 pixels in height and it will only the the timeline and play/pause button. Add the autoplay tag to the link and you'll be good to go.
